Job Anyone?

Anyone out there have a job? I mean other than people working in the government? I am working with construction materials right now and it's bad. Not as bad as it was say six months ago, but it's bad. I dont know maybe its exactly as bad and Im just getting used to it......
I'm beginning to wonder if when the Prez said the stimulus would create "shovel ready" jobs, did he just mean that very soon we would need lots of shovels to dig lots of holes that all the poor slobs with no jobs could jump into?
